Remove and apply new vinyl any time you would like to change your vinyl décor! Whether you want vinyl lettering for your walls or vinyl lettering on your mail box, let us help you accomplish the job. |
10 easy directions for ordering and applying custom vinyl at home.
- Read all directions first.
- Determine the useable area length and width. (We will make it as long and/or as tall as you need).
- Decide on the font and color that will best fit your needs.
- Order the word(s) or phrase EXACTLY as you’d like it to appear (including capitalization and punctuation).
- After you receive your vinyl letters, prepare your surface by making sure it is clean and dry, and mark any guidelines you need. (For walls we recommend you use a level).
- While holding the edges of the mounting tape, carefully peel the backing off the vinyl.
- Carefully position your phrase (It’s extremely difficult to reposition your phrase).
- Once you have your vinyl lettering where you want it, use the included wooden applicator to run over the letters on the wall.
- When you’ve finished going over your whole vinyl appliqué, slowly peel back the mounting tape, checking to make sure all letters are firmly attached to the wall. If you’ve missed a spot, carefully rub down any loose edges with the wooden applicator.
